Gym Stars Holiday Camps

Providing childcare every weekday throughout the school holidays (except Christmas), children are welcome to join our Gym Stars holiday camps for any period, from a single day to the entire holiday.

• Full Day: 9:00am – 3:00pm
• Early drop-off: 8:30am – 9:00am
• Late pick-up: 3:00pm – 4:00pm

Upon arrival the children will start the day with fun warm-up games. Once everyone has arrived, the children are split into groups depending on their age and ability. The sessions are delivered to reflect these different groups, with parts of the day where the children from different age and ability groups will have the opportunity to work together.

During the morning sessions, the coach will focus on various gymnastics disciplines such as using high and low beam, vault, bars, or floor-work, to improve children’s technique, balance, flexibility, and strength.

During the afternoon sessions the children will be placed into groups to create their own gymnastics sequences and perform to the rest of the group. They will also take part in fun games and have free-play sessions, whereby they can choose which gymnastics discipline to practice.

The day is set up like a school day, with a mid-morning and mid-afternoon break and lunch. We ask you to provide a packed lunch, preferably a healthy one! We don’t allow fizzy or energy drinks, however staff will happily re-fill water bottles. All of the sessions will take place in our indoor gymnasium and children are welcome to wear leotards, although shorts or leggings and a tight fitted t-shirt are also fine.

Gym Stars Awards

On the last day of each week, everyone will receive a certificate to recognise their achievements, and those who have shown outstanding gymnastic ability will receive their own ‘Gymnast of the Week’ trophy.
