Our British Gymnastics associated School of Gymnastics classes are designed for children and young people of all abilities, from the very beginner to advanced gymnasts. We welcome both boys and girls and structure all of our classes depending on age and ability, so that each child can develop at their own pace with the guidance of our fantastic gymnastics coaches.

School of Gymnastics Classes

Recreational Classes (4yrs – 11yrs)

These weekly 1-hour classes are open to children of all abilities. We have a range of classes available; 4-7 years, 8+ years, and open age classes, that all run Monday to Saturday.

In all of our classes, the children are split into small groups according to their age and ability.

INFO & BOOKING

Intermediate (4yrs – 7yrs)

Advanced Classes (8yrs+)

Children and young people who show outstanding progress and ability may be invited to join either our intermediate or advanced classes.

All children in these classes will have the opportunity to represent Junior Sport Stars at local and regional competitions throughout the year. These sessions are typically 2-4 hours per week.

Competitions & Awards

We enter a select group of gymnasts into several regional competitions each year. We also hold our own yearly in-house competitions so that all children can experience the competition environment and showcase their skills. Each year children are awarded through the British Amateur Gymnastics Association (BAGA) award scheme and our own Star Award scheme.

Our Facilities

Junior Sport Stars has re-located to our own incredible, state-of-the-art, purpose built facilities in Heaton Mersey, Stockport.

Our brand new venue is equipped with state-of-the-art gymnastics equipment supplied by Gymnova, suppliers of the 2018 European Championships, and caters for all disciplines.

Membership

Please note that Junior Sport Star’s School of Gymnastics Club membership (payment taken on the 1st March each year), and British Gymnastics Bronze membership (personal insurance) are required to join our Recreational, Intermediate, and Advanced Gymnastics classes.
