Sport Stars
Our Sport Stars get to take part in a variety of sports, including athletics, badminton, basketball, benchball, boccia, cricket, dodgeball, handball, mini-tennis, pop-lacrosse, table tennis, tag-rugby, tri-golf, unihoc, and rounders, plus loads of fun games.
Our Ultimate Inflatable Obstacle Course is back!
2022 sees the return of our Ultimate Inflatable Obstacle Course, available on Monday at Lane End Primary School, and Friday at New Islington Free School.
We will also be introducing Nerf Challenge; fun target games and team activities where fun and safety are paramount!*
Timetable
Providing childcare every weekday throughout the school holidays, children are welcome to join Sport Stars holiday camps for any period, from a single day to the entire holiday.
- Full Day: 9:00am – 3:30pm
- Early drop-off: 8:30am – 9:00am
- Late pick-up: 3:30pm – 4:30pm (Lane End Primary School only)
Upon arrival the children will start the day with fun warm-up games. Once everyone has arrived, the children will then be split into groups depending on their age and ability, and the sessions will be delivered to reflect these different groups.
The day is set up like a school day, with a mid-morning and mid-afternoon break and lunch. We ask you to provide a packed lunch, preferably a healthy one! We don’t allow fizzy or energy drinks but staff will happily re-fill water bottles. We aim to deliver most of the sessions outdoors, depending on the weather, so please provide suitable clothing, sun cream, and a hat, as required.
Mini Olympics
On the last day of each week, children will take part in our ‘Mini-Olympics’, where they will showcase the skills they have learnt and compete against each other.

Sport Stars Awards
On Fridays everyone will receive a certificate to recognise their achievements and those who have shown outstanding sporting ability and fair play will receive their own ‘Sportsperson of the Week’ trophy.
Our Sports Coaches
Fully qualified and experienced sports coaches, who work in nurseries and primary schools on a daily basis, lead all of the sessions. The sessions are specifically designed to create an environment for the children to thrive and develop at their own pace and, above all else, have fun!
Please visit our Meet The Team page to learn more about our fantastic sports coaches.
* Children will be provided with full protective face guards for all Nerf activities.
