Join our fun, new baby and toddler Stay & Play playgroups, designed to allow young children to explore, play, learn, and develop their motor skills, in a supportive environment for parents and carers. Siblings are, of course, also welcome!
Baby Stay & Play (Wednesdays from 9:30am)
For babies aged from birth up to 1 year, these groups offer 45 minutes themed play activities designed to support your baby’s learning, with focus on sensory development and the bonding between parents/carers and babies.
Toddler Stay & Play (Wednesdays from 10:45am)
Our toddler groups are for young children aged from 1 to 2 years. Sessions offer 45 minutes themed play activities designed to support your child’s development, with focus on hands-on and interactive play.
Both groups ensure a rich and varied experience for little ones by using a wide range of themed activities, from educational topics such as numbers and animals to special occasions such as Mother’s Day and Easter.
Each session is divided into three 15-minute parts:
- Movement to music to help support your child’s senses, fine motor skills, and speech development. Your child will have the opportunity to explore instruments such as shaker eggs, wrist bells, maracas, tambourines, and much more.
- Soft play and equipment exploration. Little ones are freely able to play and explore on our safe bouncy floor in our main gym area. Children will have access to colourful foam blocks, slides, crash mats, tents, and crawling tunnels.
- Fun and games, including bubbles, puppet shows, baby massage, story time, and parachutes.
Both groups are followed by 15 minutes for refreshments. Plus, once a month, we will be joined by a qualified health visitor, who will provide advice to parents and carers after the play sessions. Please follow our Instagram or Facebook pages to find out about upcoming visits.
